Professional Experience
Kim Kelley has been with Wealth Design Group, LLC, an agency affiliated with Guardian Life Insurance Company, since February of 2008. She started her financial services career at MetLife Financial Services in June of 2005 after more than 10 years as a human resources professional. Kim is a financial services professional specializing in creative, cost-effective executive and employee benefit strategies for small to medium sized businesses. As a former Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), she has a unique ability to approach employee benefit design from the employer’s perspective. Design strategies include medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability income, and long-term care insurance, as well as executive bonus, business continuation, deferred compensation and retirement plans. Career Accomplishments:
§ Moved from MetLife to Guardian at the end of 2007, which required leaving all clients and building a book of business from ground zero. § Received “Rookie of the Month” several times during employment at MetLife. § Started own business as a Mobile Notary Public/Signing Agent for the mortgage industry (full-time 2003 – 2005; still perform services on a part-time basis). § Member of senior management team to design and implement a formal business plan/strategic initiatives at SuperStand Magazines. § Established the Human Resources Department for a dot com and chaired a group of managers and employees in designing and implementing a culture change initiative.

Personal
Kim was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and has lived in Houston more than 22 years. She is an active member of Houston’s First Baptist Church and enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving in ministry, studying, reading, cooking and mosaics.
