Professional Experience

L.T.’s financial services career began in Overland Park, Johnson County, Kansas, in 1989 - before moving to Houston in 1996.  Before he joined the Wealth Design Group in 2006, his successful career spans some of the largest financial services giants including Prudential, John Hancock and Principal Financial Group. 

Education

1988 Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri with degrees in Business Management and Computer Science.

More recently, he attended Rice University in Houston for the CFP Board Certification education in 2005.

L.T. is a Qualified Member of The Million Dollar Round Table (the Premier Association for Financial Professionals) – MDRT; The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – NAIFA Houston Chapter.  He is very involved in the community including as A Friend of The Harris County Medical Society – HCMS; a long-term sponsor of The University of Houston’s Nigerian Student Association (NSA); and serves on the Board of Directors of various charitable  and community organizations.

Lawrence Taylor “L.T.” Nordee - born to a Civil Engineering father and a stay-at-home mother in Rivers State, Nigeria.  L.T. is a published writer on business subjects in general finance and technology in particular.  He has spoken at national conferences of major organizations in IT and Healthcare on subject matter of investment and planning. In his spare time, the father of three sons enjoys playing golf, reading and spending time with Sydney, Solomon and David.
