Professional Experience
Rick currently serves as President and CEO of Wealth Design Group, LLC. His leadership has helped propel WDG into one of the premier financial services firms in Texas. In 2007, Rick was recognized by GAMA International as an International Management Award recipient for the 17th year in a row.
Rick’s specializes in Retirement and Estate Planning. He is also a "Registered Player Financial Advisor" with the National Football League Players Association and a Charitable Planning Specialist with Philanthropy International. He is a published author and nationally recognized speaker.
Rick holds several professional designations, they are as follows: Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS), Board Certification in Estate Planning (BCE), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS).
Rick’s active investment registrations are as follows: NASD Series 7 (General Securities), NASD Series 24 (General Securities Principal, NASD Series 6 (Investment Company Representative), NASD Series 63 (Uniform Securities), NASD Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law), and NASD Series 53 (Municipal Securities Principal). Rick also holds life, health, and accident insurance licenses in multiple states.
Rick is actively involved in the financial services industry and currently serves as the President Elect of the Houston Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

He moved to Houston in August of 2004

He has two children, Jordan, who is a junior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and Micayla, who is a 7th grader at the GT Academy at Quail Valley Middle School He is a Master Scuba Diver
