Professional Experience
Roy started his career in the financial services industry in 1976. He enjoys working with families and owners of small businesses. Roy currently provides pro bono seminars at four area private high schools regarding federal financial aid for college funding. He has established expertise in this area as well as total comprehensive planning with emphasis on retirement planning. His education in the financial area is extensive. The Certified Financial Planning designation was earned in 1994 and he acquired his Certified Senior Advisor designation in 2003. He continues to study and seek new strategies and tools to better serve his clients.

Roy is an armed forces veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy from 1970-1974 and received an honorable discharge. He has a grown daughter who graduated from Texas A & M University and currently holds a position in public relations at M.D. Anderson. Roy volunteers time at “Bo’s Place” which is an organization that provides grief counseling for children who have lost a parent or sibling. In addition, Roy is a member of the United Methodist Church.
